Up Close

Somewhere on your digital camera you will find a button with this symbol… the Macro button

If you haven’t played with it already it allows you to take great close-up pictures. Like all things, you can make this as simple or as complicated as you (or your budget) dictate.

The close-up pictures shown in this gallery been taken without using expensive lighting or even a tripod – so it is possible. Having said that, a tripod is a very useful tool for taking sharp pictures where the best shutter speed is on the ‘slow’ side  such as 1/60th of a second or slower.
